Marci Payne, Licensed Professional Counselor
Most self-employed people are working in an area that uses their passions, strengths, and/or skills.  Being good at what you do and loving it may not be enough to be a successful business person.  You may find marketing, administrative, and financial tasks more challenging.  Or, maybe you have a business background, yet would like to be more organized, efficient in your work, or balanced between work and life.  Hiring a coach can help you reach your fullest potential.

Why hire me as your small business coach?

I bring my counselor communication skills and experience in self-employment to the coaching session.  By asking thoughtful questions and being a calm presence through the ups and downs of business, I coach you in developing strategies to grow and refine your business.  I also bring my professional experience in using different mediums and technology to promote my business.  Lastly, I have a passion for coaching people to reach their potential in life and work.

Identify your goals.  Develop strategies.  Take action.

I have been in the mental health field for 12 years (8 in private practice).  I have a successful private practice in a Kansas City, Missouri suburb.  I maintain certifications as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Registered Play Therapist, and Nationally Certified Psychologist.  I completed my Masters in Clinical Psychology in 1997.  My current study focuses on Bowen Family Systems Theory.
